Sis. Jackie Hill’s Biography

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all
that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

Sis. Jackie Hill was born November 30, 1963 in Galveston, Texas to Wallace and Doris Hill. She attended public school in Dickinson, Texas, graduating from Dickinson High School. Upon graduation, she accepted an employment offer from the Johnson Space Center and worked for over 18 years as a Resource/Budget Analyst, Documentation/Configuration Management Specialist and was promoted to Project/Contract Manager in the Automation, Robotics and Simulations Division. During her tenure, she was blessed to become skillful at maximizing ministry and evangelism in the workplace by exemplifying the love of God and walking in honesty and integrity.

Sis. Hill confessed Christ at a very early age, but later realized that confession was not the same as salvation. In September 1987, she was saved and baptized under the leadership of her stepfather, Pastor Charlie H. Foy.  She is a member of Cross Roads Community Church, under the anointed leadership of Pastor Christopher F. Hartwell. Sis. Hill is the President of Journeying Beyond the Veil Ministries and Founder of Jackie Hill Ministries.  She also founded Women Encouraging Women Fellowship and “A Soul Behind” prison initiative. She serves as Parolee Facilitator and Worship Service Leader/Speaker in Texas State Prisons. She served as President of the Central Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas Women’s Auxiliary for over five years and Instructor of the Central State Convention Youth Congress of Christian Workers.

Sis. Hill is a woman after God’s own heart and is distinguished by an uncompromising boldness, an unusual realness and an undeniable love for God, His word and His people.  She currently serves throughout the United States as a Minister, Teacher, Mentor, Facilitator, and Disciple.

Her source of motivation and determination is her three beautiful children, Shatoyia, Candace and Anthony Hill.  As always her final words of encouragement: “Be careful that our walk doesn't weaken our witness”.

Ephesians 4:11-13

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unit of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
